Our Befriending service helps to combat loneliness for those who are housebound and living on their own.
We match people up with our volunteer Befrienders, who then provide a regular weekly visit for a chat over a cuppa.

Information for volunteers

Just an hour a week can much such a difference to the lives of people who are housebound and living on their own. As a volunteer Befriender, you may well be one of the few familiar faces that our clients will see on a regular basis and they will come to eagerly await your visit.
