Bramber Bakehouse

Bramber Bakehouse is an award-winning charity, with a decade of experience supporting women who have experienced gender-based violence, abuse, exploitation or displacement, to gain the confidence, knowledge and skills they need for a safe, purposeful and independent future.

Our befriending service offers graduates an informal social relationship which can help to reduce isolation and loneliness through the creation of meaningful connection.

Regular contact with a befriender offers many benefits, including:
- reducing feelings of isolation through increased social connection
- providing a dedicated space to talk and to be listened to
- signposting to opportunities in the community
- increasing confidence and independence
