Information for volunteers

About SHP Peer Mentoring Service:

Our Peer Mentors used their lived experience to support clients who are receiving support for homelessness, substance use/alcohol addiction and recovery, mental health and the criminal justice system.

Peer Mentors offer telephone befriending, 1-1 peer mentoring support, assist staff to co-facilitate groups and run peer-led activities with clients.

Our Peer Mentors receive AQA accredited training and 1-1 supervision, as well as opportunities for continued professional development.
