Telephone Befriending is available to clients of The Camden Recovery Service and Islington Aftercare. Speak with your SHP Coordinator if you think you’d benefit from befriending and they can make a referral with you.

Coronavirus is having a huge impact on our lives, with the social
distancing restrictions in place possibly making you feel lonely or isolated. Your usual sources of connection, and the support networks you use to help you with your recovery, might be harder to access. Talking to someone who understands these challenges can really help. That’s why we’ve set up Telephone Befriending with the support of our volunteers who all have lived experience of overcoming substance use issues.
