Vital Skills: Matching and Endings

I felt comfortable with the facilitator and felt I could ask questions or share thoughts during the event. Victoria is great at making everyone comfortable and I like having an informal feeling to the training.

Purpose of course

This module is designed to develop your knowledge and understanding of the matching process. A successful match can help encourage better results when measuring the impact of your project, can improve your reputation and can help with volunteer retainment as we provide our volunteers with a positive experience. This course reviews good practice and protocol with your matches, beginning to end. Endings must be handled carefully to ensure any positive work done or progress made is protected. Join this one-day event to learn more. Please see the full agenda of topics covered below.

Learning objectives include

  1. To demonstrate an understanding of matching methods
  2. To compare match meeting practice with attendees from other projects
  3. To create an efficient referral form
  4. To discuss methods for collecting and storing data
  5. To plan for match endings and design a positive procedure for your service

Duration and Time Commitment
