Children and Young People's Online Safety Toolkit
Welcome to the Children & Young People's Online Safety (Resource for Trainers). This toolkit is designed to equip befriending organisations with the knowledge and resources to train their befrienders on the risks and opportunities children and young people (CYP) may face online.
In this toolkit, you will identify key issues and be directed to relevant resources. Use this toolkit as a resource to educate, equip and empower those at your organisation with the knowledge and skills to understand and discuss online safety risks.
This toolkit has been designed in a way that you can pick and choose which resources are applicable to your organisation as well as which resources you want to use. For example, you may wish to focus on videos if your group are visual learners.
Each section contains a content list and a simple icon system to make each module as user
friendly and efficient as possible.
