Befriending Networks Befriending Statistics Report 2022 showing the estimated impact from befriending services provided by our members in the past year, the data sought as follow:
* Number of people supported through
o 1:1 face to face befriending
o Group befriending
o Telephone befriending
* Number of Befrienders supported
* Number of hours of befriending provided
The data was collected on 16th June 2022 with current membership at 367, and
255 members (69%) had provided input.
When estimating the value of befriending hours provided, the Annual Survey of
Hours and Earnings 2021 (ASHE) Median Hourly Rate of £15.63 for adult males
and females has been applied.
