Sight Concern Bedfordshire

Sight Concern Bedfordshire is a local, independent charity with offices in Luton and Bedford. We work with visually impaired people, their families and carers throughout Bedfordshire and Luton to provide services to enable them to live full, active and independent lives. We support people of all ages, backgrounds, cultures and communities through a wide range of tailored services and support.

Information for volunteers

Volunteer roles at Sight Concern Bedfordshire are many and wide ranging so there will always be something to suit you. Maybe you have some IT skills which could be used to show visually impaired people how to access technology. If you have an hour to spare you could make weekly home visits or befriend a visually impaired person with a weekly telephone call. This will help combat loneliness amongst the community and make a real difference to people’s lives. You could help at our low vision clinics or one of our many social groups. The possibilities are endless.
