SWAN Women's Centre
We are a women's service based in Sefton offering face to face and telephone/online support for 12 months for over 18's. The service is informal with a cycle based approach. Our aim is to reduce isolation and loneliness that women in the community experience as a result of poor mental health. Our befriender's can go for coffee, a walk, to appointments and groups with the service user.
Information for volunteers
We are an all-women organisation spanning across Sefton. We offer comprehensive training and support for the life of commitment with ongoing training opportunities. We like to add small touches of kindness for our volunteers as without them, our whole organisation would cease to exist. We host celebrations when able around Christmas and acknowledge dedication.
