TACC London (Therapy accessible on contact without charge)

TACC are able to provide befrienders to people who are vulnerable and who may be facing mental health problems. Our main service provides talking therapies and social work intervention for people who are in crisis. For many people loneliness and isolation may be big factors in the difficulties they are facing. The befriending service is especially interested in supporting black and minority ethnic people.

Information for volunteers

TACC provides training, support and supervision for volunteers who initially will undertake telephone befriending. Each befriender will be matched with up to 2 users. TACC will meet expenses including travel and telephone.

People interested in supporting users from diverse backgrounds are especially welcome, as are people for minority ethnic backgrounds who are wishing to volunteer.
