Staffordshire Sight Loss Association

We are a local charity based in Stoke-on-Trent that provides services and support for people living with sight loss in North Staffordshire. Our area of operation covers Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle under Lyme, and the Staffordshire Moorlands.

Our telephone befriending service can match you with one of our volunteers for a weekly or fortnightly chat. The majority of our volunteers have lived experience of sight loss and it can be an opportunity to speak to someone with shared experiences who understands. You may however want to talk about something entirely different, the conversation is guided by you and we aim to match you with someone who has similar interests.
