The Careline befriending service is aimed at alleviating the negative impacts of loneliness on mental and physical health and is therefore available to anyone who is feeling lonely, isolated, experiencing anxiety or has limited social contact.
Get in touch with us and we will match you with one of our trained befriending volunteers who will call you regularly to chat and give you a listening ear.
As this is a remote service, due to the coronavirus pandemic, all interactions will be via telephone or video calls. We hope to resume face-to-face befriending in the near future.
The service is completely free and available to anyone who has been referred by a healthcare professional such as a doctor or nurse, or by a friend or colleague who is concerned about your wellbeing.
