West Norfolk Befriending

West Norfolk befriending works to decrease isolation among older people in West Norfolk. Many have become isolated due to a change in physical condition or as they have become an unpaid family carer. There is a choice of service delivery via telephone / at home or via email.
Following an assessment, via the telephone or at home you will be matched with a vetted, trained and supported volunteer who will make contact fortnightly. They will not undertake personal care shopping or advise but will share conversation and stories.
WNB hosts several community groups and social events in the year.
Just call the office if you would like to know more about the service.
The service is delivered using current Government guidance and with the safety of clients volunteers and staff as a priority.
