We set up a new Befriending Service to support the local residence in Tower Hamlets . Apasen Befriending project will achieve a significant major increase in the numbers of volunteers supporting this in Tower Hamlets and other borough who need support to improve their quality of life and fully engage in civic society. This includes older people and those with disabilities and their Carers. It will deliver volunteer befriending targeted at most vulnerable older residents and Carers - to support independent living and combat social isolation.
