BE Blaenau Ffestiniog FRIENDS
A befriending service is based on what matters to you...from a cup of tea and a chat in the comfort of your own home to venturing outdoors for a spot of shopping or a stroll on a warm spring day. Our volunteers are matched to your hobbies and interests so if you are a keen bingo player, we have got it covered!
If you are a carer and would like us to sit and chat with your loved one whilst you pop into the village or have a pamper session, that's great!
We are here to make a difference, from meeting with you or simply a telephone natter, please get in touch, we would love to meet you...
All of our volunteers hold a valid DBS, are insured and have participated in our specialist training programme
Bilingual service available
Information for volunteers
Here at Grandma's Attic Community Project, we are a passionate group of volunteers who utterly enjoy embracing our community. We provide day trips, Christmas day lunch, children's summer camp, employment schemes and are currently raising funds for our own community mini bus.
As volunteers, we have a shared responsibility to make sure that the projects are beneficial to all. We provide training opportunities for all volunteers. All we request in return is that you can commit to a couple of hours a week and can make a great cup of tea!
We would love to welcome you as part of our team...hope to hear from you soon!
