Information for volunteers
Young Adult Carers Mentors. Mentors will provide one-to-one support for at least six months to a young adult carer (aged 17-30 years) to facilitate their personal and professional growth, helping them work towards and achieve their goals and aspirations.
Befrienders for older & housebound carers. Redbridge Carers' Support Service needs volunteers with a mature attitude to help us support our older or housebound carers. To our carers, this support can be invaluable. The help can be very variable like only having a little chat on phone to carrying out light household work.
We also look for volunteers to help with outreach and promotion and to help at our support groups and health and wellbeing activities.
