Other Funding Sources
This is a list of books, web and other resources that you may find useful. It isn't meant to be comprehensive, rather it is a guide to the major resources on funding and where to get more help.
Many of the resources listed cost money – if you do not have a budget for this kind of expenditure, contact your local CVS or Volunteer Centre to see if they have a copy of, or a subscription to, the resource you'd like to use.
Web Resources
FunderFinder
FunderFinder is a small UK charity producing software and other resources, mainly for grant-seekers. Some of the resources are free, some cost – for instance, the software FunderFinder sells that is most relevant to the voluntary sector, GIN (Groups in Need), costs £150+VAT for the cost of a single licence. The annual renewal fee is then £75+ VAT.
Fundraising.co.uk

Books
The following books are not directly – or not wholly – about funding or fundraising but may be of interest. There are many books and information packs published about the practicalities of fundraising – too many to list here. Probably the largest publisher is Directory of Social Change which publishes the major directories listed above and a large number of books, including those previously published by Charities Aid Foundation. It also distributes publications by other voluntary organisations. You should make sure you have a copy of their publications list – see www.dsc.org.uk.
