Fair Use Policy

By registering as a member you agree to our Fair Use Policy:

Access to documents in our website, particularly the Befriending A-Z, is for members only. In the interests of fair use and a protection of this membership benefit, please do not provide these access details to non-members outwith your organisation. Copyright belongs to the authors and the resources should not be quoted, copied, reproduced or distributed without acknowledgement. Anything downloaded from the website can be traced if a breach of fair use is suspected.

Member organisations have access to the Befriending Networks website using their organisation's access details (a single nominated email address and password). Organisations may therefore have multiple users within their organisation accessing member benefits on the website using these access details.

BNS is a small organisation which relies on generating its own income. All of this income goes towards supporting the befriending sector and generating new befriending resources.

Your membership will need to be accepted and activated by Befriending Networks before you can enjoy all the benefits. We will endeavour to do this as soon as possible after your registration. If you have any questions about this, please email admin@befriending.co.uk or call 0131 261 8799.
