HUBB Support Group
HUBB is run by & for adults familiar with mental health problems, as an unregistered charity in London Boroughs of Havering, Barking & Dagenham, Our monthly Meetings are a safe place to share experiences, hear visiting Speakers & enjoy a buffet & raffle. Our monthly Newsletter & Website include local & national policies & events. Over 26 years as an Advocacy service, then the Statutory Advocacy service, now unfunded, so we are just members & voluntary befrienders, fighting stigma & isolation.
Information for volunteers
To lead & develop the Service as above, HUBB needs at least 2 volunteer Trustees, preferably with relevant experience.
We also value volunteers to help run our monthly meetings, or to become Befrienders (befriending by phone or face-to -face when safe. )
